KEEP BEER IN YOUR HOME

OK.  Now that I’ve got your attention...I’m going to give you some reasons to keep beer in glass bottles in your home.  The first two reasons are:

  •              Enjoy drinking it (in moderation of course).
  •              Use it in cooking.  I love beer battered fish!!
The other reasons all have to do with self defense:

  •             Hitting an intruder over the head with a bottle may not disable him completely but it will most likely cause enough of a distraction to give you a chance to get away or at least time to grab another weapon.
  •             Break a bottle of beer and use a piece of the glass as a weapon.

  •             Take empty beer bottles and break them into pieces, being careful not to cut yourself and making sure to keep all the pieces contained in a safe area where no one will later accidentally get cut by any of them.  Take the pieces along with Liquid Nails adhesive (can be bought at most local hardware stores) and glue them onto a wooden baseball bat and you have a great weapon.  Hint:  buy a variety of types of beer so that you have different colored bottles to make your bat weapon even prettier and hey, if you never have to use it as a weapon, it could serve as an interesting piece of art.

  • Save your empty beer bottles and in case of a Zombie Attack you can make Molotov Cocktails.
